Movie Synopsis - Directed by Nirmal Dey, ‘Sharey Chuattor’ is a romantic comedy including the most famous faces from the industry in 1973 – Tulsi Chakraborty, Molina Debi, Uttam Kumar, Suchitra Sen, Bhanu Banerjee, Jahar Roy. The movie revolves around a condominium owned by Rajani Babu (Tulsi Chakraborty), where college students and office goers stay. A problem arises when Rajani Babu’s relative with her daughter are homeless and asked for shelter. Rajani Babu had no other option and allowed them to stay there but also hesitated as it was an abode of men. The relative’s daughter Ramala was a pretty lady and the men in the boarding always tried to impress her. Rampriti (son of a rich man) initially had a bit of problem with Ramala but ended up falling in love with her. Both of them started exchanging love letters. But the other members of the abode always mocked them. All these confusion resulted into a funny incident when one of the letters reached Rajani Babu’s wife and she misunderstood her husband!!
